Thierry Perrot Director of Operations Egypt and Libya at Intercontinental Hotels

May 11, 2008 - Cairo, Egypt - InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the appointment of Thierry Perrot as the new Director of Operations Egypt and Libya.

Mr. Perrot has over 27 years of experience. Mr. Perrot moves into this new function from his position as Area General Manager for InterContinental Hotels Group CityStars, Cairo, where he was instrumental in maintaining the hotels’ position of excellence within Egypt. Following his first role with the group in 1981 at InterContinental Geneva, Mr. Perrot moved into the position of Financial Controller, working in several locations including London and Nairobi. Mr. Perrot was then promoted to Director of Finance at the Carlton InterContinental Cannes in the South of France. After six years, Mr. Perrot ventured to Asia where he took up the position of Regional Financial Controller for Indonesia, based at the Borobudur InterContinental Jakarta. Mr. Perrot then took on the joint role of Regional Finance and Resident Manager at the same property. Staying in Asia, Mr. Perrot transferred to Seoul, Korea in 1999 to take up the role of Resident Manager at the Grand InterContinental Seoul, and after that he moved to the COEX InterContinental Seoul as Hotel Manager.
