TerraForm Power director Ahmad Chatila resigns
Mr. Chatila became President, CEO and a member of the Board of Directors for SunEdison in March 2009. Before joining SunEdison, he was an Executive Vice President of the Memory and Imaging Division, and head of Global Manufacturing for Cypress Semiconductor.
Before becoming EVP, Mr. Chatila was the Managing Director of Cypress' Low Power Memory Business Unit joining after a period in sales at Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.
Mr. Chatila holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and has completed the Executive Program at Stanford University.
The Company also said that the Board appointed David Ringhofer to be a member of the Board.
Mr. Ringhofer also serves as the Head of Legal, Corporate of SunEdison, a position he has held for the past year. He has been with SunEdison since 2009 and previously held various positions, including Assistant General Counsel, Solar Materials and New Ventures and International Tax Counsel.
Before joining SunEdison, Mr. Ringhofer spent 5 years in the International Tax practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in various roles. ■
