SPAR Group announces departure of CEO at the end of July
Ms. Blanchard has led SPAR Group for the last two and one-half years. Prior to joining SPAR, Ms. Blanchard was Senior Vice President of Client Services and Business Development at HAVI Global Solutions, a global supply chain services company to the food service industry, from 2007 through 2013.
Before that, Ms. Blanchard served in various executive positions with Monsanto and Nielsen, most recently as Nielsen’s Vice President of Business Development. During her 14-year tenure there, she brought in and worked with some of the industry's top Fortune 500 companies, some of which are SPAR's customers today.
Her passion for client service netted her another company’s highest honor, Nielsen’s Chairman’s Award, as well as ConAgra’s Vendor Partner of the Year.
Ms. Blanchard founded, chaired and was the Executive Sponsor of HAVI’s Women’s Business Resource Group, and she co-founded and co-chaired HAVI’s Cultural Business Resource Group.
She has also held committee chair positions for the Women’s Foodservice Forum and was a founding Advisory Board Member of the Global Women’s Leadership Forum, an organization dedicated to the development of Women’s Business Resource Group leaders.
In recognition of these efforts, Ms. Blanchard received the 2013 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Developing Women in Leadership Honor and was the 2014 Chair of the event.
Ms. Blanchard will continue to serve as CEO of the Company through July 31, 2016 and support a search for her replacement and the transition of her duties. ■
