S&P Global Platts' president Imogen Joss to resign
Ms. Joss served as President of S&P Capital IQ from 2014 to 2015 before assuming her current role as President of Platts.
Mr. Joss joined S&P Global in April 2014 and prior to her role at Platts, served as President of S&P Capital IQ, a provider of multi-asset class and real-time data, research and analytics for financial professionals around the world.
Effective September 2016, she became Senior Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of Gresham Computing plc, a software and services company that specialises in providing real-time transaction control and enterprise data integrity solutions.
In 2010, when FTSE was acquired by the London Stock Exchange Group, she was named Executive Director of their Information Services businesses, running global sales for the index, real time, software and reference data teams.
Earlier in her career, she was Head of European Sales and Marketing at Informa Global Markets Ltd. She has also held senior posts in other leading data vendor companies, including Financial Times Information, Extel Financial Ltd, and Reuters plc.
Ms. Joss holds a bachelor’s degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the University of Exeter. She will remain with the Company through September to ensure a smooth transition. ■
