Robin Gourmet Burgers CFO to resign

Stuart B. BrownRobin Gourmet Burgers announced that Stuart B. Brown, the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, will resign on July 15, 2016.

Mr. Brown is responsible for leading a wide range of financial disciplines, as well as overseeing the company's Information Technology, Real Estate & Development and Supply Chain organizations. He brought to Red Robin more than 20 years of leadership in corporate finance — a decade of which he spent in the food retailing industry.

Before joining Red Robin, Mr. Brown served for five years as chief financial officer for DCT Industrial Trust and was chief accounting officer at Federal Realty Investment Trust.

Prior to this, Mr. Brown worked for Royal Ahold for ten years with roles including vice president and controller at Giant Food, vice president of corporate accounting for Ahold USA, and vice president of investor relations based with Royal Ahold in the Netherlands.

Mr. Brown began his professional finance career at Deloitte & Touche as an auditor in the firm's Atlanta office, and then as a supervising auditor in the firm's Amsterdam office.

He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in accountancy from the University of Georgia.
