Polymetal International appoints two executives
Maxim Nazimok will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer of Polymetal.
Mr. Nazimok joined Polymetal in 2011 as Chief Financial Controller and was promoted to Finance Director in 2015. Mr. Nazimok started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
He then worked at MDM Bank and Nomos Bank, both among top-5 Russian privately-owned commercial banks.
Mr. Nazimok holds a BA degree in Economics from St. Petersburg State University and is a Fellow member of ACCA.
In 2016, hew graduated with distinction from the Executive MBA-Global Programme at London Business School and Columbia Business School.
Sergey Cherkashin will assume the newly created position of Executive Vice President - Business Performance.
Mr. Cherkashin was appointed CFO of Polymetal in 2005.
Previously, he worked in a CFO position in several companies and was employed by AT Kearney as business efficiency consultant.
Mr. Cherkashin holds an MBA from the University of Hartford and Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. ■
