Plaza Centers chairman Ron Hadassi resigns
Mr. Hadassi currently is the senior manager of Bronfman-Fisher Group, engaged in industry, real estate, finance and retail and holds various positions within the Bronfman-Fisher Group. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the controlling shareholder and Carmel Winery and he is the chairman of Elbit Medical Technologies Ltd.
Mr. Hadassi holds a BA in economics, political science, an LLB and an MBA from the Tel Aviv University. He was appointed as an executive director on July 8, 2014 and elected as a chairman and non-executive director on November 28, 2014.
Mr. Kfir serves as the founder and managing director of VAR Group. He has served as interim chief executive officer, chief financial officer, advisor or court appointed officer, crisis manager and trustee with respect to various companies.
Mr. Kfir currently serves as Board and Audit Committee member at Elbit Imaging Ltd, Plaza Centers N.V. and Elbit Medical and served in such capacities in Orkit Communications Ltd.
Mr. Kfir served as a Creditors’ Committee member in the restructuring process at Elbit; receiver and trustee to Alvarion Ltd; financial advisor to Moti Ben Moshe and the Extra Holding Group in the IDB Group take-over and restructuring process; trustee to Eshbal Technologies Ltd; and a court-appointed expert to Sunny Electronics Ltd.
Prior to founding VAR Group, Mr. Kfir managed auditing projects as well as business development at Kesselman & Kesselman, a member of PwC International.
Mr. Kfir holds a BA in business administration from the College of Management, Rishon LeZiyon and is a certified public accountant (CPA, Israel). Mr. Kfir was appointed as a non-executive director on 8 July 2014.
Akiva Azulay has resigned as Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Azulay joined the Company in August 2015, with a business management and financial background alongside extensive real estate and retail experience.
Most recently, Mr. Azulay was at Delek Group, he previously held senior roles at AFI Europe (part of Africa-Israel Investments) between 2004 and 2010, most recently as vice president, where he managed real estate operations across Central and Eastern Europe.
Before this, Mr. Azulay also worked at Bank Hapoalim as an economist in the real estate investment department, handling the provision of credit to construction and development projects in Israel.
Mr. Azulay holds a B.Sc and M.Sc from Ben-Gurion University as well as a certificate in real estate valuation and appraisal certification from Tel-Aviv University.
