Laurie Hays Joins Bloomberg as Executive Editor for Company News
June 20, 2008, New York, USA - Laurie Hays, a veteran news executive, joins Bloomberg News as Executive Editor for Company News, effective August 4. Ms. Hays is a graduate of Harvard College and worked previously as a reporter for the New Orleans States Item/Times Picayune and the Wilmington News Journal of Delaware. Ms. Hays has 23-year career at the newspaper was a Moscow-based correspondent, bureau chief in Atlanta and New York, National News Editor and, most recently, Deputy Managing Editor for Investigative Reporting. Ms. Hays supervised several reporting teams that won the Pulitzer Prize, Scripps Howard and Gerald Loeb awards during the past decade.
