Landauer CEO William E. Saxelby to step down

LandauerLandauer, a radiation measurement and monitoring company, announced that William E. Saxelby will be stepping down as director, president and chief executive officer effective as of September 15, 2014.

Since September 2005, Mr. Saxelby has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Landauer. From 2003 to 2005, he provided consulting services to a number of private equity organizations.

From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Saxelby served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Medical Research Laboratories, Inc., a manufacturer of defibrillators. He held executive positions from 1978 to 1996 with Baxter International and its American Hospital Supply subsidiary, including serving three years as Corporate Vice President of Allegiance Healthcare, a Baxter spin-off.

Mr. Saxelby has a BBA from University of Wisconsin at Whitewater and an MBA from the University of Dayton.

He will be replaced on an interim basis by Michael T. Leatherman, a member of the Company's Board of Directors since 2008.
