International Game Technology appoints new director
Ms. McGregor is the Executive Dean of the Edinburgh Business School, the graduate school of business of Heriot-Watt University in the U.K.
Ms. McGregor is also the principal shareholder and non-executive chairman of the executive search firm Taylor Bennett.
In addition, she is a director of Non-Standard Finance PLC, a company specializing in offering consumer loans in the U.K.
Ms. McGregor has a Ph.D. from the University of Hong Kong in Structured Finance and is an experienced writer and broadcaster, including writing for the Financial Times for 17 years.
In her early career, she worked in financial public relations and investor relations before completing an MBA at the London Business School and joining ABN Amro as a sell-side analyst, where she spent eight years working in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo.
Ms. McGregor is the founder of the Taylor Bennett Foundation and a founding member of the steering committee of the 30% Club.
In June 2015, Ms. McGregor was made a Commander of the British Empire for her services to diversity and employment.
In February 2017, she was appointed by the U.K. Government to be a member of the Honours Committee for the Economy. ■
