Global Ports appoints Mikhail Loganov as CEO
Mr. Loganov has been the Chief Financial Officer of Global Ports since October 2013.
In addition to his role as CFO, Mr. Loganov has served as a member of the Board of Directors since December 2008 and was on the Audit and Risk Committee from 2008 to 2013.
He has worked chiefly in the transportation and logistics industries in Russia.
Mr. Loganov replaces Vladislav Baumgertner who has accepted a role outside the port industry and is stepping down.
Mr. Baumgertner joined Uralkali in 2003 as Chief Commercial Officer.
He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Uralkali from 2005 to 2010 and its President from 2004 to 2008.
Mr. Baumgertner received a degree in Electrical Engineering and Power Plants from the Urals State Technical University in 1994.
In 2000, Mr. Baumgertner was awarded an MBA degree from Kingston Business School (Uk); and in 2003, an MSc degree in Financial Management from the University of London. ■
