Gazit Globe CEO Rachel Lavine to step down
Ms. Lavine has served as CEO of Gazit-Globe since September 2015. She has also served as Vice Chairman of Atrium European Real Estate (ATR) since December 2014 and as a member of its Board since August 2008.
Ms. Lavine currently serves on the Board of Directors of Citycon and is also a member of the Board of the EPRA organization. Ms. Lavine previously served as Chief Executive Officer of ATR from August 2008 until November 2014.
Prior to that, Ms. Lavine was President and CEO of Plaza Centres and President and CEO of Elscint Ltd.
Ms. Lavine is a certified public accountant and earned a BA in business management from the College of Management and an Executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Tel Aviv.
Dori Segal, Executive Vice Chairman of Gazit-Globe, was appointed as CEO.
Mr. Segal currently serves as Executive Vice Chairman of Gazit-Globe), as the Chairman of First Capital Realty,and as Vice Chairman of Equity one.
Mr. Segal joined the Gazit Group in 1993 both as principal investor and as senior member of the management team.
Mr. Segal's led the acquisition of First Capital Realty, Inc. in August 2000, and its growth since. He has served as president and CEO of First Capital Realty from 2000 to 2015 and as CEO of Gazit-Globe between 1998 and 2008. ■
