August 25, 2008, New York, USA - Dow Jones & Company announced it has named John C. Gregitis Vice President of Global Sales for the Business Relationship & Intelligence group.

During his more than two decades leading sales organizations, Mr. Gregitis has been known for returning companies to profitability, deftly raising capital, and contributing to strategic acquisitions. Before joining Sunguard, he led several emerging enterprise software organizations and was one of the founders of Naviant, which specializes in targeted advertising for online consumers. Prior to joining Dow Jones, Mr. Gregitis had an impressive series of achievements at Sunguard. As senior vice president, he led a team responsible for generating more than $1 billion in revenue. Mr. Gregitis quickly proved himself, rebuilding a sales team and increasing client retention while maintaining a profitable line of business by recruiting a stellar enterprise sales leadership team and instilling a performance-based culture. During his tenure, Sunguard was purchased by a private equity consortium for $11.4 billion-the largest technology-leveraged buyout of its time.
