Curtiss-Wright: James Busey Retires From Board of Directors

James B. Busey IVMay 3, 2008, Roseland, N.J., USA - Board of Directors of Curtiss-Wright Corporation announced that James B. Busey IV is retiring as a board member of the company, effective May 2, 2008.

Admiral Busey was elected to the position of Director in 1995. Mr. Busey was the former President and Chief Executive Officer of AFCEA International, and served as Deputy Secretary of the Department of Transportation and as the administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration. Mr. Busey compiled a distinguished 37-year career in the U.S. Navy, during which he rose to the position of commander-in-chief of U.S. Naval Forces in Europe and commander-in-chief of Allied Forces in Southern Europe, a NATO Command, from 1987 to 1989.
