Cosi terminates CEO R.J. Dourney
Mr. Dourney was appointed in March 2014. He is the founder and CEO of Hearthstone Associates, a Massachusetts-based restaurant company and is Cosi's largest franchisee.
Mr. Dourney has 30 years of branded industry experience with corporate and franchise restaurant operations.
Prior to founding Hearthstone Associates, Mr. Dourney served as Chief Operating Officer for Au Bon Pain.
Prior to joining Au Bon Pain he held operating leadership positions with Applebee's International including as Vice President of Franchise Operations and Development, overseeing a franchise system.
Cosi also announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Miguel Rossy-Donovan, submitted his resignation from September 23, 2016.
Mr. Rossy-Donovan commenced employment as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer on May 11, 2015.
Prior to joining Cosi, he served as Chief Finance & Administration Officer of Teach For America from September 2005 to May 2015.
In total, Mr. Rossy has 15 years of finance, accounting and operational experience in the private sector, including 10 years in publicly-traded companies in the restaurant industry. ■
