Carlson Hotels names Federico González Tejera as CEO
Mr. Tejera is the former Chief Executive Officer of NH Hotel Group. Mr. Tejera previously was a senior executive at Disneyland Paris, most recently serving as Deputy General Manager.
Prior to that, he worked at Procter & Gamble in Madrid, Brussels, and Stockholm, and served as Country Head of Portugal.
Mr. Tejera majored in Economics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and received a Masters of International Trade and Finance from the École Supériore de Commerce de Paris.
He will succeed David Berg who will leave the company following a brief transition period.
Charles Mobus is newly appointed Director of the Carlson Hotels Board.
Mr. Mobus is a Managing Partner at Benedetto, Gartland & Company. Mr. Mobus has been with the firm for more than 20 years, focusing on corporate advisory and capital raising assignments.
Prior to BGC, Mr. Mobus was a Managing Director at Smith Barney, where he specialized in acquisitions, high-yield financing, and initial public offerings.
Mr. Mobus also previously worked at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Inc. in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group and at Citibank N.A.
He currently serves as Chair of the Nominating Committee at Rezidor Hotel Group, and as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Directors at Swissport.
Mr. Mobus received a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh University. ■
