Barracuda Networks CFO David Faugno to step down
Mr. Faugno has served as Chief Financial Officer at Barracuda. He previously served as Director of Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions at Cisco Systems Inc., where he supported the acquisition and integration of more than 20 companies.
Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations of Actona Technologies Inc., a leading wide area storage vendor that was acquired by Cisco.
Mr. Faugno also served as Chief Financial Officer of Soltima Inc., a wireless infrastructure software company.
In his eight years with AT&T, he held a variety of financial, sales and operations roles, including Chief Financial Officer of the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, in which he restructured AT&T's portfolio of investments and joint ventures in the region.
Mr. Faugno holds a B.S. in accounting from Rutgers University and an Executive MBA from Duke University.
Dustin Driggs, Barracuda's chief accounting officer and worldwide controller since 2012, will replace Mr. Faugno as Barracuda's CFO.
Mr. Driggs has been with Barracuda since 2007, and prior to joining Barracuda, worked at Cisco Systems, Inc. in a variety of financial leadership roles.
Mr. Driggs began his career in public accounting with Coopers and Lybrand and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University and an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University.
Hatem Naguib and Ezra Hookano have joined Barracuda as vice presidents to drive the security business and channel management, respectively. ■
