May 14, 2008, Bahrain - Arab Financial Services Company BSC, a provider of electronic-payments and consumer finance outsourcing services, has appointed industry veteran Keyka Pourkarimi as Chief Operating Officer.

A well respected payment industry expert, Mr. Keyka has held a number of senior management positions. Mr. Keyka served as pProduct and technology cosultant at Sema (September 1984 — May 1994) where he was in charge of client and project management, implementing Card Processing core systems for Europe and the Middle East. After that, Mr. Keyka worked at Standard Chartered Bank where he was responsible for all technology platforms supporting the bank's Credit Cards and Personal Loans businesses on an international scale. Mr. Keyka then joined First Data International where he was Vice President - IT Business Sloutions.
