Anne Mulcahy CEO of the Year

June 4, 2008, Montvale, N.J., USA - Chief Executive magazine announced that Anne Mulcahy, Chairman and CEO, Xerox Corporation, has been selected by her peers as "CEO of the Year."
Ms. Mulcahy an impressive group of past winners including: Bob Ulrich, John Chambers, William H. Gates III, Jack F. Welch, and J. Willard Marriott. Ms. Mulcahy's nomination was a unanimous decision by the selection panel,
chaired by Bob Ulrich, CEO, Target Corp., and the magazine's 2007 CEO of the Year.
"She is an outstanding leader in every aspect, and we are happy to name her the 23rd CEO of the Year," said J.P. Donlon, editor-in-chief of Chief Executive magazine.
Appointed CEO in August 2001, Ms. Mulcahy is dedicated to building a sustainable business that focuses on developing talent and fosters new technologies through research. At a time when most companies are trying to
cut costs, R&D is central to Mulcahy's strategy, as proven by the more than 100 new products that have emerged over the last three years.
