Fitch cuts Italy's rating to BBB from BBB+

Fitch Ratings downgraded Italy's long-term foreign- and local-currency credit ratings to BBB from BBB+, citing the country's tepid economic growth, increasing political risks and "persistent track record of fiscal slippage."
