Marriott opens Aloft Long Island City - Manhattan View

Empire State   Free Wi-Fi throughout the property

Marriott announced the opening of Aloft Long Island City - Manhattan View, the first Aloft in Queens, and specifically, Long Island City.

This hotel will be the fourth Aloft hotel in the New York City metropolitan area, joining properties in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Owned by Select Development and managed by Real Hospitality, Aloft Long Island City - Manhattan View features 176 spacious loft-style rooms, 1,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and a buzzing social scene with a rooftop terrace, stunning panoramic views of the NYC skyline, an outdoor courtyard and more.

"Aloft is a great choice for Long Island City because it's a young, up and coming neighborhood near Manhattan and Brooklyn with a large entertainment connection and diverse restaurants," said Paige Francis, Vice President, Global Brand Management, Aloft Hotels.

Aloft Long Island City - Manhattan View is close to numerous art galleries, shops, restaurants and businesses, including JetBlue Airways headquarters.

Just minutes from both La Guardia Airport (LGA) and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), the hotel is just a short subway ride from all top New York City attractions such as Times Square, the Empire State Building and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Aloft Long Island City - Manhattan View features SPG Keyless—the industry-first keyless entry system that enables guests to use their smartphone or Apple watch as a room key—and fast and free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

Additional amenities include a Re:chargeSM fitness center; and Re:fuelSM by Aloft – a one-stop gourmet grab & go food and beverage area and live, local music at the brand's signature W XYZ bar as part of the signature Live At Aloft Hotels music series.
