Christie's in London offers different, but the same impressive auction. This time the word is about Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints, including The Wilhelm Niemeyer Collection of Prints by Karl Schmidt-Rottluff. This very long description hides the great names of art who deserve everyone’s attention. The auction will start on April 2 and it is a great overture for New York's diamond sale.
This time London's Christie offers great art names. We will mention just some of them. Albrecht Dürer was a German painter, engraver and mathematician. He is best known as one of the greatest creators of old master prints, along with Rembrandt and Goya. Edvard Munch was Norwegian symbolist painter and printmaker and an important forerunner of expressionistic art. Marc Chagall was combination of Belarusian-Jewish origin and Belarusian-French painter. He took his inspiration from Belarusian folk-life, and portrayed many Biblical themes that reflected his Jewish heritage. Pablo Picasso was born in Spain. He is best known for co-founding the Cubist movement and last but not the least, Andy Warhol, who was an American artist and a central figure in the movement known as Pop art. Selection of artist and styles are wide, and you will certainly find what you are looking for. London, Christie's, on April 2.

Kristina Szekely's association with the Sotheby's International Realty Affiliates, Inc., offers several outstanding properties in Spain. Two of them attracted our attention. First is Historic 15th Century Alhambra Estate. Spanish call it the typical "Carmen". It is situated in a very privileged area, 80 meters from Alhambra Palace, in Granada. Constructed around 15th century it was a gift from the Catholic Kings to the Great Captain of the conquests, and it is currently used for conferences and exhibitions. On 1545 metres squared it has five bedrooms, a kitchen, five bathrooms, even fourteen half-bathrooms and numerous reception rooms. This architectural jewel with detailed columns looks really breath-taking. Its garden is laid out over several different levels offering direct access to Generalife gardens. Abundance of vegetation, vineyard and its own water well, make this property even more catchy.
