At time when everybody talks about interaction with customers, Bavaria indeed interacts. No wonder then that Bavaria is respectable among its customers.

Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH is one of the biggest yacht builders in Europe. The company produces around 3.500 yachts between 27 and 50 feet every year, and employs more than 600 workers. Since Bavaria Yachtbau (yacht builder) uses computer-aided manufacturing processes it can deliver good price, performance and reliable yachts to its customers. No wonder then that Bavaria is respectable among its customers.

At time when everybody talks about interaction with customers, Bavaria indeed interacts. The last example is modified version of Bavaria 44vision, the yacht that was changed after requests of customers and dealers. Just for example, at 40vision and 50vision rudder has been moved forward, the new cockpit table is mounted without compass, and the cockpit lockers were enlarged and have considerably more storage space than before.

Bavaria Vision is the line aimed at higher segment and currently consists of three models: 40vision, 44vision, and 50vision. Vision yachts include an increased standard equipment compared with the cruiser line, new hull design that offers new speeds, new ballast ratio, and significantly increased sail areas.

A lot of space is the characteristic of all Vision yachts. The spacious galley has an ice box and a large refrigerator, top quality shades for two meter long deck salon windows, drawers under the foreship bed, solar powered stainless steel vents, spinnaker winches, lead keel and many other high quality components. The height in salon is approximately 2,11 meters, high enough for us tall people. Side deck and coach roof come with anti-slide structure, while seat thwarts and cockpit floor are made of teak.

Bavaria 44vision has length overall 13,70 m, waterline length is 11,55 m, unloaded weight is slightly over 10.000 kg, fuel tanks hold 210 litres, and water tank 360 litres. The standard engine is Volvo D2-55 with 53 hp, sail area is approximately 111,20 square meters, and height of mast above waterline 20 meters.

For you and your guests there are three cabins with six berths, salon has comfortable settee and luxurious salon table, and you can lie down a chart on the table with large compartment for nautical charts. On your disposal are also refrigerator with capacity of 80 litres, cooker with oven, and insulated cooling box. There is plenty of room for storage, and the best part are two panorama windows in the salon.

Bavaria cooperated with their long-time friend from Slovenia J&J Yacht Design with one goal: optimise performance and manufacturing. That means that same parts are used across multiple models so the price is kept down. A detail warmly welcomed by its customers. For example, salon tables are interchangeable and 40’s table fits the Bavaria 37 Cruiser. One worker can mount Volvo engine because boat has computer-cut holes.

On the waves Vision flow smoothly, and on the inside it feels smoothly. Bavaria found just the right combination of speed, luxury and pure joy.
