Mild cases of haemorrhoids can be treated with drinking more water (eight to nine glasses of liquid) and eating food rich with fibre such as grains, fruits and vegetables. It is also very important to keep your digestion in order. Obtain a habit to go on toilet every day at the same hour. Take a daily newspaper with you to read if you think that is useless action. It will work after a while. Consult your doctor about using stool softeners. If you start to use it remember that you must drink lot of water because otherwise fibre supplements will cause even worse constipation. And of course, something that nobody likes to hear, exercising reduces veins pressure and prevent constipation, so be active. Also bathing in a bath with warm water helps. Be sure that area around your anus is always clean so let the use of bide be your next habit. Try not to strain and go to toilet as soon as you feel that you must because otherwise your stool could become dry and you will be in trouble again.
