Chronic fatigue syndrome

Fatigue is a mechanism that protects from the excessive nerve activity and at the same time it warns that you must change your life style.
Chronic fatigue syndrome is not new disorder. For the group of the symptoms in 19th century people used expression "nerve exhaustion". Beside possible infective causes, development of the disorder induce psychiatric disorders (as depression), endocrinological diseases, metabolic disorders and particularly stress and trauma.
Chronic fatigue syndrome usually starts abruptly, mainly after a cold or viral illness or after some stress situation caused by moving, changing of the working place or a car accident. Chronic fatigue syndrome is characterized with unexplainable fatigue followed by physical and mental exhaustion that doesn't pass even after resting. Patient have trouble with sleeping, he wake up very often or sleeps very shortly. Pain in muscles or/and joints ("Everything hurt me" statement), headaches, painful lymph nodes and throat, and especially abdominal pain, those are some of the symptoms of the chronic fatigue syndrome. Patient also has some neurological elements of the disorder as forgetfulness, mental tiredness, troubles with concentration, short memory and disorientation. Low blood pressure, low blood pressure after standing up, pale face, nausea, heart beating or trouble with breathing are manifestation of autonomous disorder. While body weight is changing (from anorexia to abnormal eating), daily body temperature oscillation, perspiration episodes, feeling of heat attacks and cold limbs are same neuroendocrinological manifestation of chronic fatigue syndrome.

If chronic fatigue is present at least four months (three months in children) you must make new daily schedule of all your activities, change the way you eat and start to exercise moderately. In the battle against fatigue syndrome you must choose the fastest and the most natural way to regenerate and return the vital straight of the organism. Through food choices that is abounded with carbohydrates, proteins and fats in optimal proportions, you will soon bring your body in balance.
For the start, every day take a little time just for yourself and do little things that make you happy. Adapt diet to detoxicate organism and for the start increase input of water in the organism. Suppress sweet and carbonated juices, minimize input of caffeine and minimize smoking and drinking alcohol. Increase input of fish, especially blue fish (sardine, mackerel and tuna), but also consume fishes of cold water as are salmon and herring. Those fishes are abounded with omega-3 fatty acids that act favourably on your brain functions and decrease fatigue. People call wheat germs "the champions of health".
