150 geographic bests

As co-author of the book '150 geographic bests', our art director wrote about the extremes existing in the world we live in. This is a book on the wonders of Planet Earth, but not those made by Homo sapiens. It tells the story of trees, animals, flowers, lakes, and, last but not least, the story of people. What is the name of the world's deepest lake? Which city has the warmest year-round weather? What is bigger, an elephant or a whale? And how about the world's tallest waterfall - is it really Victoria Falls in the Zambezi National Park?

Answers to those and many other similar questions are in this book. It is a small format book (very appropriate to be taken everywhere, even to a quiz show!) but its content is great. The authors' fields of interest are physics, mathematics, Universe, and every other imaginable kind of science. He knows a whole bunch of interesting facts. True, this has nothing to do with design, but it is kind of cool.
