Industrial production grew by adjusted 2.5% annually, slightly slower than the 2.6% increase in January.
On an unadjusted basis, industrial output slid 1.7%, in contrast to a 7.3% rise in the prior month.
Among sectors, production of intermediate goods and capital goods grew 4.2% and 2.5%, respectively. Energy production advanced 3.9%. Meanwhile, consumer goods output fell 0.3%.
Month-on-month, industrial production dropped 0.2% in February, reversing January's 0.3% rise. ■
