The Headline Sales Managers’ Index (SMI) posted 53.2 in November, stable on the October level, says World Economics.
Business confidence has remained at the nine month high reported in October. The monthly Sales Index for November improved again to 55.6 from 55.4 in October confirming the recent optimism expressed by managers as sales growth improves.
Price rises for goods and services have remained modest during the month with only a small uptick in the index level and the Staffing Levels Index continues under the 50 ‘no change level’. ■
