For the first-quarter, excluding M&A related charges and gain on divestitures, EPS was $1.29. Revenues totaled $2.8 billion, up 5% from last year fueled by 5% organic growth.
The company said its bottom line rose to $393.1 million, or $2.59 per share. This was higher than $189.4 million, or $1.28 per share, in last year's first quarter.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.2% to $2.81 billion. This was up from $2.67 billion last year. ■
