Schlumberger announces 31% fall in Q1 bottom line

Schlumberger reported a profit for first quarter that lost ground from last year.


The company said its bottom line came in at $347 million, or $0.25 per share. This was down from $501 million, or $0.40 per share, in last year's first quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 5.7% to $6.89 billion. This was up from $6.52 billion last year.
